Smooth, lustrous and soft , you'll love weaving or knitting with this Bamboo yarn. Bamboo, the "lunch-of-choice" for Panda bears, turns out to be a fabulous fiber for DK weight hand or machine knitting as well. Bamboo yarn is environmentally friendly, naturally antibacterial (including against staphylococcus germs even after many washings) and has excellent breathability and drape. This bamboo yarn doesn't split or break easily as other bamboos do and it has a lighter, less dense feel. Knitters will enjoy nice even stitches, great pattern detail and a beautiful shiny finish. For weavers bamboo will work similarly to a mercerized cotton, tencel or rayon. Bamboo is available by the pound or 200 yard minis in 24 gorgeous colors.
