Bamboo, the "lunch-of-choice" for Panda bears, turns out to be a fabulous fiber for hand knitting as well. Bamboo yarn is environmentally friendly, naturally antibacterial (including against staphylococcus germs even after many washings) and has excellent breathability. Nylon has been added for extra durability. Great for socks as well as baby sweaters, hats and booties.
